Keeping your phone under your pillow while sleeping may seem convenient, but it can interfere with healthy sleep habits. Notifications, vibrations, and the temptation to check social media can keep your mind alert when it should be relaxing. Using a phone late at night can also expose you to bright screen light, which may make it harder to fall asleep.
A better approach is to place your phone on a table away from your bed and activate Do Not Disturb mode overnight. If you use your phone as an alarm, consider a traditional alarm clock instead. Creating distance from your phone at bedtime can reduce distractions and help you establish a more consistent, restful sleep routine.
