Camera-trap images presented at an October 17 press conference in Mexico show a pale, animal-like figure reportedly photographed in the Valley of Juárez. UFO investigator Jaime Maussan’s team estimated its length at nearly six feet, including a roughly three-foot tail, by comparing it with bricks in a wall. Maussan alleges it has taken chickens, rabbits and other farm animals. He has also floated an interdimensional origin, but the photographs do not establish that extraordinary explanation.
The crucial gap is corroboration. Juárez Civil Protection said it had received no reports of a dangerous creature or animals being carried away. Police across the border in Texas likewise reported no unusual encounters or related farm animal deaths since Maussan’s initial claims. The figure’s identity remains unresolved, and neither the alleged attacks nor its supposed otherworldly nature has been verified. For residents, the distinction matters: an unsettling image is not proof of an unfamiliar threat.
