Cassie Testifies in Diddy Sex-Trafficking Trial, Alleging Years of Abuse

In a harrowing testimony, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura described years of alleged abuse by hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs during his federal sex-trafficking trial. Ventura, now 38, met Combs at age 19 when he signed her to his label. She testified that the relationship soon turned controlling and violent.

According to Ventura, Combs dictated every aspect of her life, from her appearance to her finances. She described severe physical abuse, including being hit, kicked, and dragged, and said she often appeared in public with visible injuries.

A central focus of the testimony was Combs’ orchestration of “freak-offs”—sexual encounters involving Ventura and male escorts, allegedly directed by Combs. Ventura claimed she was coerced into these humiliating acts and used drugs to numb herself. Escorts were reportedly flown in globally, paid thousands in cash.

Ventura alleged Combs controlled all details, including her clothing and the sexual acts. She testified that although she sometimes coordinated logistics, it was always under his direction.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. His legal team has yet to cross-examine Ventura, whose testimony is expected to continue this week.
