Serial Killer Glen Rogers Executed in Florida for 1995 Murder
Glen Rogers, known as the “Casanova Killer,” was executed by lethal injection on May 15, 2025, at Florida State Prison for the 1995 murder of Tina Marie Cribbs. Tina, a mother of two, was found stabbed in a Tampa motel room after meeting Rogers at a local bar. Though suspected in multiple killings across the U.S., it was her case that sealed his fate.
In his final words, Rogers addressed his family, the victims’ families, and ended with a message to Donald Trump: “Keep making America great. I’m ready to go.” He was declared dead at 6:16 p.m.
Tina’s body was discovered days after her disappearance. Rogers had fled the scene, but was arrested after a high-speed chase in Kentucky while driving her stolen car. Evidence, including DNA and fingerprints, tied him to the crime.
Rogers had also been sentenced to death in California for another murder but was executed in Florida under a warrant signed by Governor Ron DeSantis.
His final day was calm. He ate pizza and chocolate cake, visited with family, and showed no resistance. While it’s unclear if Tina’s family attended, others expressed relief, hoping the execution brings long-awaited closure.
