What began as a honeymoon for Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam Raghuvanshi in Shillong turned into a shocking murder case. The newlyweds traveled there on May 20, expecting a joyful start to married life. Days later, they disappeared, prompting a police search. Raja’s body was later found in a remote gorge, showing signs of violence. Initially, suspicion fell on Raj Kushwaha, believed to be Sonam’s lover. However, investigators uncovered a far darker conspiracy: Sonam allegedly orchestrated Raja’s murder, using Raj and three accomplices to carry out the plan. Police say she shared Raja’s location and directed the killers throughout the trip. Further investigations suggested Sonam may have planned to betray Raj as well. Arrested on June 8, Sonam reportedly confessed. The case shocked India, exposing a chilling story of betrayal, manipulation, and murder hidden behind a honeymoon façade.
