The footage reportedly showed numerous lice crawling from the driver’s neck onto his shirt. Medical professionals warn that untreated infestations can cause intense itching, open wounds, secondary bacterial infections, and, in extreme prolonged cases, anemia from significant blood loss. Head lice primarily spread through direct head-to-head contact and shared personal items such as combs, brushes, caps, and helmets. Treatment usually involves medicated anti-lice products. Washing linens, cleaning personal items, and vacuuming upholstered areas can also help prevent reinfestation and transmission.
