From a young age, Pattie Mallette had a love for the arts. By nine, she appeared on local TV shows like Romper Room and Big Top Talent. However, her early passion was overshadowed by a painful and troubled youth.

Struggling with trauma and poor mental health, Mallette attempted suicide at 17. She was committed to a mental institution, where she underwent Christian conversion therapy.
