Police in Muscatine, Iowa, are investigating a deadly incident that left six people dead across multiple locations. Authorities said officers first responded to a residence on Park Avenue, where four victims were found with fatal gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter, identified as 52-year-old Ryan Willis McFarland, later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being located by police. Investigators subsequently discovered two additional victims at separate addresses. According to police, preliminary findings indicate the victims were family members of the suspect and that the case appears to be a domestic-related tragedy. The investigation remains ongoing.
