Fans of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide have been following a recent fundraiser for Tylor Chase, who played Martin Qwerly. Now 36, Chase was found living on the streets of Los Angeles by influencer Citlalli Wilson (Lethal Lalli). Wilson’s viral footage sparked concern and prompted a fundraising campaign that raised $1,207 to help him.
Wilson documented how she used the funds, buying new clothes, jackets, shoes, and a backpack chosen with Chase’s preferences in mind. In one video, she washed his hair on the sidewalk with a water bottle, presenting the items as a “refresh.” Chase expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much, these are so pretty.”
While some praised the effort, others noted that clothing alone couldn’t solve deeper issues like homelessness and mental health struggles. The fundraiser originally aimed to provide housing, food, and resources to help Chase rebuild his life, emphasizing comprehensive support and hope beyond immediate relief.
