Dog Refuses to Leave Do.wn.ed Soldier – He never left!

These dogs deserve to be treated with honor for their bravery and loyalty. If that means using funds to build a retirement home for them, so be it!!!!

Two confirmed kills were credited to the K9 that day, both captured on drone footage. Each time, he returned to Miller’s side, resuming his protective stance as if nothing else mattered.

 

When reinforcements finally arrived, Rex [co.llaps.ed]. He had been [h.it] during the [fi.ght] but stayed standing until Miller was safe. On the way to the safe zone, both man and dog [lo.st] consciousness. Hours later, they woke up in the hospital alive, together.

A year later, Rex was honored as a true American hero. Not just a K9, but a soldier who stood his ground, saved his handler, and refused to leave his brother in [ar.ms] behind.
