Authorities have recovered the bodies of three men from a mudslide near Lillooet, while one person remains missing. The victims were located during search operations conducted this week, following severe flooding and landslides caused by heavy rainfall. Earlier, a woman’s body was also recovered from the disaster site. Search efforts for the remaining missing individual were unsuccessful due to difficult weather and terrain conditions and have now concluded. Officials are working to identify the victims and notify their families. The mudslide occurred along Highway 99, which remains closed to traffic indefinitely.
