Some animals don’t look how we expect, and sadly, that can make people hesitant to approach them. Ace the cat is one such animal. He had a rough start, living as a stray kitten on the streets before being rescued. Due to an infection, Ace lost one of his eyes, giving him a unique appearance that sometimes scares children.
Despite his looks, Ace is a sweet and gentle cat who loves to relax in his family’s driveway. To keep an eye on him, his owner, Norma Maikovich, installed a security camera. What she saw on the footage surprised and touched her deeply.
Every day, a young boy visited Ace. Unbothered by his missing eye, the boy would sit with him, petting and playing. Their bond was undeniable. The footage showed them cuddling, playing, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
“It melted our hearts,” Norma said. “Ace would rush to the door as soon as he saw his friend. It’s amazing, the bond they share.”
Now, the boy no longer has to sneak in to see Ace—Norma has welcomed him as part of the family. “A friend of Ace’s is a friend of ours,” she said.

That kitten lived till she had a liver problem when she was 21 yrs old. Too I saved her entire litter cause a week later someone dropped off a box full of kittens and the mom cat .
