The 64-year-old actress, who revealed last year that she has been diagnosed with stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma, took to social media to clarify that any such fundraising campaigns are scams.

Sharing images of the fake appeals, Szubanski made it clear that they have no connection to her. She stressed that supporters should not contribute money to any fundraiser claiming to support her medical treatment. According to the comedian, the only reliable updates about her health and situation are those posted directly on her official social media accounts.

Since announcing her diagnosis, Szubanski has been open about her journey, regularly updating fans with a mix of honesty and humor. Early on, she shared a photo of her shaved head, explaining that she chose to do so in preparation for the hair loss caused by chemotherapy. Mantle Cell Lymphoma, the condition she is battling, is a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer.

In one video message, she expressed gratitude to drag performers Trixie and Katya for their appreciation of Kath & Kim, the iconic show that introduced her much-loved character, Sharon Strzelecki.
