Gemma Atkinson is an English radio presenter, fitness influencer, and former actress and glamor model. She first rose to fame as Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks and later returned to reprise the iconic role. She’s also known for reaching the finals of Strictly Come Dancing and now co-hosts the drive-time slot on the Hits Radio Network.

Beyond her media presence, Gemma is passionate about fitness and mental wellbeing. She emphasizes strength over aesthetics, advocates for a balanced diet, and shares her wellness journey openly on social media. She’s also active in charity work, especially animal welfare, and became vice-patron of Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in 2016.

She denied 2024 engagement rumors with Gorka Márquez—whom she met on Strictly—by explaining a mirrored Instagram video caused confusion. Together, they share two children, and Gemma frequently shares the ups and downs of motherhood.

Previously featured in magazines like FHM and Maxim, Gemma transitioned from glamor modeling to acting and radio. She proudly embraces her muscular build, advocating body positivity and self-acceptance. Rooted in her Manchester heritage, she prefers staying close to family over moving to London, reinforcing her down-to-earth image.
