🚨UPDATE: K-9 Roam

Roam made it through surgery yesterday. To stop the bleeding, doctors had to remove his left rear leg. 💔 Thank you to every agency and civilian who brought in their dogs—or offered to—so we could find blood matches. Your quick action helped Roam get the life-saving transfusions he needed.

Overnight, Roam did well. His heart rate and blood pressure remained stable, and his lab work looked good. He’s been lifting his head, looking around, and even wagging his tail a little! 🐾

He’s not out of the woods yet, so please keep sending your prayers and healing thoughts. 🙏

We are beyond grateful for the overwhelming love, messages, food, and support from the community. And a massive thank-you to the ER staff who gave Roam everything they had to keep him fighting. 💪

Roam is strong—and he’s not done yet. Get well soon, K-9 Roam! 💙❤️‍🩹
