To the person who dumped these dogs in front of me, I will never understand how you could do that.
How can someone look at two pit bulls—loyal, gentle souls—and decide they are disposable? You didn’t just abandon them. You left them on a busy road where cars sped past, putting their lives at serious risk.
It took us a long time to catch them. They were terrified and shaking, running purely on fear. That fear didn’t come from nowhere—it came from whatever they have already been through.
Dumping dogs like this only feeds harmful stereotypes. The truth is in my car right now: two frightened, loving animals who just wanted safety.
Thankfully, a kind woman stopped to help us with food and patience. Because of her, and because people cared, these dogs are now safe. They will receive proper care and loving homes where they will be valued and protected.
