Bill Bixby was a beloved American actor and director whose television career spanned more than 30 years. Born in San Francisco in 1934, he first gained fame in My Favorite Martian, starring alongside Ray Walston. He later earned critical praise and Emmy nominations for The Courtship of Eddie’s Father.

Bixby’s most iconic role was Dr. David Banner in The Incredible Hulk, where he portrayed a gentle scientist struggling with a powerful alter ego. Beyond acting, he became a respected television director, working on series such as Blossom.

Despite suffering personal tragedies, including the loss of his son and battling prostate cancer, Bixby remained dedicated to his craft. He passed away in 1993, remembered for his warmth, talent, and lasting impact on television history.
