“The Hero of the Mountain”
His name was Rex, a guardian dog living high in the mountains with his flock of sheep. His duty was to protect them from wolves — and he had done so bravely for years.
But one freezing night, the wolves attacked. The sheep scattered in panic, and the little lambs hid among the rocks. Rex heard the faint cry of one terrified lamb. He ran toward it with all his strength, placing himself between the wolves and the helpless baby, fighting until the danger was gone.
When morning came, Rex lay wounded and exhausted, but he stayed beside the lamb he had saved — wrapping his body around it to keep it warm. He was tired, but he didn’t move… because a hero never abandons those he swore to protect, even in pain.
That day, he wasn’t just a dog lying next to a lamb — he was a legend of loyalty, courage, and love that knows no boundaries.
Rex couldn’t speak, but his story said to the whole world:
“Being a hero isn’t about strength… it’s about having a heart — even if you’re a dog.”
