Woman Tries To Fake Insanity In Court, Judge Calls Out Her “Pure Evil”

Prosecutors, however, pointed out that her actions were carefully planned and deliberate, dismissing her insanity claim as nothing more than a performance.

At one point, the judge openly criticized her attempt to shift the blame, telling the jury that what they were seeing wasn’t mental illness — it was cruelty. “This isn’t madness,” the judge said, “this is evil.”

The woman, who sat expressionless for most of the proceedings, reportedly showed no remorse. Family members of the victim said the defense strategy was “an insult,” and they were relieved when the jury rejected her plea.

Clips of the moment have since gone viral, with many people online agreeing that she was trying to “play the system” and calling her behavior “chilling.”
