Ex‑Child Star Dies at 33 After Unexpected Health Crisis

Garrett passed away on February 8, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 33. His mother, Carol Garrett, confirmed the news and shared that the family is awaiting official autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death.

Born Nolan Blake Garrett in Austin, Texas, he showed remarkable talent from a young age. He began performing in local theater, appearing in productions such as Aladdin and His Magical Lamp, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, and Grease. At just 10 years old, he toured nationally with Barney’s Colorful World, gaining valuable stage experience.

Garrett rose to wider fame with his role as Plug, earning recognition alongside his castmates. In later years, he focused on personal growth and sobriety, maintaining three years of recovery. Fans and loved ones remember him for his warmth, resilience, and the joy he brought to audiences.
