Weighing in at just 6 kilograms, he also had a severe worm infestation and numerous ticks, which posed yet another problem the vet was racing against time to solve.

After a bath, he appeared quite different, yet he faced another issue—his digestive system was inflamed, presenting a difficult situation.

Although the worm and tick infestations were cleared up, the infection lingered. The exhausted dog seemed to crave nothing more than rest. After ten days of relentless effort by the veterinary team, he finally began to recover.

His prayers were answered as he was sent to a new home, where he became particularly intrigued by the household cats. Nourished and gaining strength, he started to explore his new environment.

Everything was a new experience for him, and he remained busy exploring, possibly for the first time having a sense of companionship.

With each passing day, his transformation amazed everyone; his weight doubled from 6 to 12 kilograms. Vito, as he came to be known, blossomed into a beautiful and joyful dog, proving to be a true miracle.
