Our welfare system desperately needs mandatory drug testing for applicants. Taxpayers deserve assurance that their hard-earned money supports those in genuine need, not those funding destructive habits. This step promotes real accountability and helps break the cycle of dependency.
Far too often, government assistance enables bad choices instead of empowering better ones. Requiring a clean drug test upholds fairness for everyone involved and reinforces the value of personal responsibility that built this great nation.
It’s time to reform welfare into a true safety net that lifts people up. By demanding accountability through testing, we save taxpayer dollars, strengthen communities, and give individuals the dignity of self-sufficiency they deserve.
